This website is intended to be used as a portal for members of Share My Voice. Panel members can view and, if necessary, update their personal data here. In addition, the results of the surveys are published on the portal.
Share My Voice and this portal are managed by I&O Research, a fully accredited research agency. The periodic surveys are also carried out by I&O Research, on behalf of Het Kenniscentrum Arbeidsmigranten. Het Kenniscentrum Arbeidsmigranten has established this panel of its own initiative, in order to obtain objective, independent and first-hand information about the attitude, behaviour and experiences of migrant workers. The panel is used for surveys carried out at the instruction of Het Kenniscentrum Arbeidsmigranten and may also be made available for research projects initiated by third parties such as government authorities, employers and industry associations.
This website and its contents have been compiled with the greatest possible care. In the unlikely event that the information on the website is found to be incomplete or inaccurate, I&O Research cannot be held liable.
Your participation in Share My Voice is entirely voluntary and without obligation. You decide personally whether you wish to participate or not. You can view the personal information registered about you and, if necessary, update it. Furthermore, you can deregister at any time if you no longer wish to participate in the surveys. The content of the website may not be used for commercial purposes or made available to third parties.

I&O Research has appointed two Data Protection Officers. These employees are responsible for privacy within our organisation. Mr Daan Breukel and Ms Ester Hilhorst are our Data Protection Officers. They can be reached via kwaliteit@ioresearch.nl for all your questions and requests regarding privacy and data protection in relation to Share My Voice.
If you have any questions about emails you have received and ongoing surveys, please contact the Share My Voice helpdesk via helpdesk@ioresearch.nl.
I&O Research processes personal data you provide to us in order to participate in Share My Voice. All your personal data will be treated carefully and confidentially by I&O Research. A summary of the personal data that we process is included below: - Post code for your residential address (four digits, two letters) in the Netherlands - Gender - Year of birth - Educational qualifications - Type of profession - Sector in which you work - Languages you speak - Marital status - Household composition - Income - Email address - Reason to work in the Netherlands - Duration of stay - Country of origin The personal data will be used to invite you to participate in relevant surveys and for the purpose of analysing individual surveys. We process your answers to the questions asked in these surveys to determine the opinion of all panel members or a respondent subgroup. We present anonymised results in such a way that the individual answers in our reports can never be traced back to a specific person.
Household income is not seen as special personal data under the law; however, it can be considered sensitive. This information is mainly used in surveys that investigate financial strength, purchasing behaviour and the use of (public) facilities. We wish to emphasise that you are not obliged to provide these items of special and/or sensitive data. You can indicate this by selecting the ‘I would rather not say’ option. All your personal data (including these items of special and sensitive personal data) will be treated as strictly confidential and will only be used for research purposes. The personal data will exclusively be used for statistical analyses that compare different groups (e.g. based on regions or age groups). So this data will never be analysed at a personal level. The panel aims explicitly not to collect information about website visitors who are younger than 16 years old. However, we are unable to determine whether a website visitor is over the age of 16. We therefore encourage parents to involve themselves in their children’s online activities in order to prevent collection of their data without parental consent. If you believe that we have collected a minor's personal data without parental consent, please contact I&O Research and we will delete that information.
I&O Research will never share your data with third parties. An exception may apply if required for carrying out the research. In that case, your data will only be shared if you give your explicit consent.
The software includes security features for ensuring that information cannot be erased, misused or altered without your consent. Only authorised employees have access to your data, for the sole purpose of analysis and quality control.
Share My Voice does not use automated processing to make decisions about matters that might have (significant) personal consequences. These are decisions that are taken by computer programs or systems without the involvement of a human being (e.g. an employee of I&O Research)..
The following computer programs or systems are used for panel management and conducting surveys:

I&O Research takes protecting your data seriously and acts in an appropriate manner to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised alteration. If you believe that your data is not properly protected, or if there are any indications of misuse, please contact I&O Research.
